It is very confusing to pick just one type of software.
Right now i am looking at wordpress, movabletype, typepad.

I am using googles blogger and it seems a bit difficult to use.
Hmm, if not Blogger, Wordpress (wordpress.com) is what I'd recommend. It's also a bit more feature-rich than Blogger.
