It is very confusing to pick just one type of software.
Right now i am looking at wordpress, movabletype, typepad.
Not sure if these are the best for my tasks.

MY GOALS:
1 – use the blog to promote my new website
2 – will need to have it customized to look like my website
3- will need to be able to upload one or two video a day (at most) onto the blog
4 – i don't write code/html etc. so would need to start basic – (how ever i am willing to learn)

A database, and php functionality – I am not to familiar with coding. will it be basic? I would be eager to learn basic code or is there an easier option?

if you're hosting yourself dont forget you need webhosting, a database, and php functionality

if youre using some free online version, dont worry about that.
