What do you need in a blogging software? Here is my wish list for what to find in the best blogging software.

• It’s easy
• It has the capability to help you find content
• It allows you to write your own SEO (search engine optimized) content
• A variety of Themes and Skins
• Auto Posting!

So I started testing this blog posting software recently (Wordpress Direct) and it does all of this. I was able to create several blogs and then after adding some initial content, I put them on auto posting and they continue to post current material and are working their way up google rankings.

I start off each blog by posting manually and then after the blog is established (a few days to a week) I am able to either search out good content or put it on auto pilot.

The real power in this is not the auto posting (In my opinion). The REAL power is in the good content. I literally used to spend hours looking for stuff to write about. Not anymore.

My only real problem with semiologic pro is that I had difficulty getting a nice design.  The ones that came with it were very blocky and didn’t seem to leave much room for customization.  The reason this was a problem for me is that I don’t do design, so I am always looking for good designs that come with the package.

Long story short is that I bought the software and installed it once or twice, but have since moved on to another platform.
